The journey continues in this second installment of Colleen Coble’s novel serialization. As Rand Campbell leaves for his post in Fort Laramie, Wyoming, more drama ensues. Family circumstances change for Sarah Montgomery and her younger brother Joel, and they decided to pursue a life out west. After a difficult trip to the fort with their friends, their arrival does not garner the welcome they hoped for. “Will Sarah’s journey west lead her back into the arms of the one man she can trust?”
Colleen Coble’s writing is descriptive and emotion-filled! In A Heart’s Obsession, tension continues to mount, unexpected events occur, and the conclusion of the story leaves characters in jeopardy and readers desperate for more. I enjoyed this short story and am eager to continue the journey in next month’s release, A Heart’s Danger.
The Journey of the Heart serialization begins with A Heart’s Disguise and includes six installments that will release monthly from March through August. These stories were originally published in two books, Where Leads the Heart and Plains of Promise.
